Israel raided a humanitarian flotilla in international waters bound for Gaza. Everybody knows (if not should) that Israel has been keeping Gaza in a complete stranglehold ever since the Palestinian people dared to democratically elect a government which does not meet the approval of Israel and the west. It needs to be added that the Israeli led Gaza embargo has only been made possible with the explicit cooperation of Egyptian government.
Starving whole cities with the goal of creating such misery that surrender becomes a more appealing option than to continue resisting is something that has been used through the ages.
